The Clarkefield Brumbies Cricket Club was established in 2002 with two things in mind - Having a Great Time and Winning Cricket Matches. It is only six short years since then and the club has Won 3 Premierships and was honoured as the N.W.C.A Club of the Year in 2004/05 ahead of 52 other clubs. Not too shabby!
The Club is located at the Clarkefield Recreation Reserve just 20 minutes past Melbourne Airport on the Melbourne-Lancefield Road. Currently we field two Senior sides in the North West Cricket Association with the club's 1st XI competing in the Stringer Shield. Our players range in age from 20 to 57 and travel from all over the northern suburbs of Melbourne to train and play. We take our cricket seriously but maintain an enjoyable friendly atmosphere with many social events throughout the year. We like to think of ourselves as a family club. The Partners and Children of our players are very much a part of the club and help to make the Brumbies a highly enjoyable environment in which to play cricket. Special Thanks to the founding members of the Clarkefield Brumbies Cricket Club who have put in so much time and effort and most importantly stayed loyal, especially during our first couple of (very difficult) years. Your work has not been forgotten and now we are starting to see the fruit's of our labour.
